Gorean Ways

In this section, I intend to open the exploration of the fictional creation of John Norman called the novels of Gor and the philosophical premises that are posited therein. I will also discuss my personal adaptations of the Gorean Ways to life and living on earth and specifically in the country, state, and locality I live in. Since this will be a "work in progress" you will see that it constantly progresses. Because I do not have lots of extra time to read, I'll be extracting some data from other sources and depending on my kajira eve to help me through this process...

There are clearly many different ways that can be said to be "Gorean" but ultimately I believe that Gorean ways as written by John Norman are following what is natural versus what polite or politically correct society and its perversions have brought about today. The denial of our natures and what has been created by nature over many millennia has weakened all of us and made us less than we are. In modern western societies we waste most of our energy in pursuit of things which are against our natures. And no, I'm not entering into a discussion of the question of whether our innate nature is good or evil but rather just stating that whatever it is, it is our nature. We deny our essential natures and desires and instead pursue things, ways, philosophies which are counter our natures. This is why we find so much dissatisfaction and unhappiness in society and culture today.
